Click-tatorship
A new phrase entered my consciousness the other day. It is the typical play on words combining the “click” obsession that so much of social media holds and rhymes with “dick.” And one can use the slang meaning of “dick” as well and combine it with “tatorship” which gives us a good description of the administration: click-tatorship.
The orange cult fanatics love the whole “click” thing that social media has to offer. It is more about “owning the libs” than actually doing something to make people’s lives better. There is so much performative stuff in the current governmental occupation in Minnesota. The ICE agents deliberatively provoke or behave so abhorrently that there is a reaction and they film it. Kind of like Nick Shirley doctoring video in Minnesota, but he won’t go anywhere near Texas where 48 Texans were charged in a nationwide $14.6 Billion healthcare fraud on January 25, 2026.
Instead of performative cosplaying, effective governmental organizations are quite boring. To build a new school there are planning commission, city council, county board meetings along with public input sessions and so many layers of approvals and inspections that it seems to take forever. But that is what good governance requires.
Since the current administration has no decent policy ideas and has the majority disapproving of their gestapo tactics, they’re nothing more than a click-tatorship.
