If It's Such a Great Idea...

The occupation of American cities by forces like the ICE gestapo is an outrage. The numbers (.44 ICE arrests per agent per month in Minnesota) and the costs, plus masked officers acting without consequences, the angry recruits, and the incompetence of the leader, make this more than an economic catastrophe. Families are torn apart, innocent people are killed with no accountability, and ordinary lives are deeply traumatized. No rational person outside the cult could think this approach makes sense. However…

Cult members scream: THERE’S A HUGE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION PROBLEM!!! WE NEED DRASTIC ACTION TO CLEANSE OUR RACE OF THESE FOREIGNERS!!!

Is the cure so much worse than the disease? Minnesota, a blue state, has between 8-8.4% of the residents being foreign born, below the national average, and those immigrants account for about 10.8% of the labor force mostly in manufacturing and STEM fields.  So, is the sane response to “cleanse” families seeking asylum and trying to achieve the American dream? Actually, maybe we should just wait for our overlords at Fox to tell us what to believe.

ICE invaded Minnesota; a state with far fewer immigrants than very red states like Florida and Texas who have Republican governors. So if Dear Leader thought it such a good thing, why dont’t DeSantis and Abbott demand, ICE deployments like Minnesota? 

The answer is obvious: ICE is obscene. Their quotas are abhorrent. Tactics are evil. Everything about the masked occupiers is wrong. But the most telling thing is that even the nazis trying to “purify” America are not welcome in the red states that claim to hate immigrants the most.
